Police promptly prevent 3 students from almost falling into the trap of easy jobs with high salaries

Nam Ma Commune Police (Lai Chau province) promptly prevented 3 students who were looking for jobs following the lure of easy jobs with high salaries on social networks.

According to the Ministry of Public Security's Electronic Information Portal, during armed patrols to ensure security and order at the grassroots level, at about 8 pm on May 6, Nam Ma Commune Police (Lai Chau province) discovered a group of 3 female students waiting for buses in a deserted area.

With keen professional skills, the soldiers noticed that the children showed signs of psychological anxiety, worry, and carried a lot of personal luggage in the dark. Recognizing signs of abnormality, the Task Force approached, kindly inquired and took the children to the commune police headquarters for verification and clarification.

At the police station, the identities of the children were identified as: T.T. N (born 2012), L.H. B (born 2012), both residing in Tua Thang commune (Dien Bien province) and L.T. V (born 2014), residing in Nam Cuoi commune (Lai Chau province).

Through information gathering, the children said that because they believed in advertisements and promises of light work with high salaries on Facebook, all 3 secretly dropped out of school, ran away from their families to meet in Nam Ma commune, took passenger cars to Hanoi according to the instructions of strangers. If there was no timely intervention from the police force, it is very likely that the children would have become victims of human trafficking or labor exploitation lines.

Immediately after that, Nam Ma Commune Police quickly used professional measures, coordinated with the Police of adjacent communes to verify the identity, and urgently contacted the families of the victims.

At the police headquarters, the soldiers directly explained to the children and parents about the sophisticated methods and tricks of online fraud and human trafficking disguised as labor recruitment. Up to now, Nam Ma Commune Police have completed procedures to hand over the children to their families in stable health and psychological condition.

From this case, Lai Chau Provincial Police recommends that people need to strengthen supervision of their children's use of social networks; absolutely do not believe in job-seeking invitations of unclear origin. When detecting signs of being seduced and lured, people should immediately report to the nearest Police agency for timely intervention measures.
