Lam Dong - Commune police look up population data, find the owner of the handbag dropped on National Highway 55 to return property.

On June 16, La Da Commune Police (Lam Dong province) said that they had verified and returned property to a resident who dropped a handbag while moving through the area.

Previously, during a patrol on National Highway 55, passing through Da Tro village, the La Da Commune Police task force discovered a handbag dropped on the roadside. Upon inspection, there were many personal papers and 3.5 million VND in cash inside.

Immediately after discovering the property, the working group made a record of the incident and proceeded with verification steps to find the owner according to regulations.

Through the documents in the handbag and searching on the population database system, La Da Commune Police identified the owner of the property as Mr. Luu Ngoc Anh (born 1996), residing in hamlet 3, Bao Lam 1 commune, Lam Dong province. The unit contacted and notified Mr. Anh to come to the headquarters to receive the property back.

According to Mr. Luu Ngoc Anh, while moving through La Da commune at night, he accidentally dropped his handbag. Because there were many important papers and cash inside, he was very worried and searched but could not find it. When he received information from La Da Commune Police, he was happy and touched.

At the La Da Commune Police headquarters, after comparing information and verifying the correct owner, the police force returned all documents and cash to Mr. Anh.
