Accordingly, at 18:42 on June 10, Major Lo Van Dung suddenly received 499,999,999 VND (nearly 500 million VND) transferred to his personal bank account.
Realizing that this was a large amount of money and there were signs of mistaken transfer, the comrade proactively reported to the unit's leaders, and quickly coordinated to verify the information of the money transferor to find a way to return it.
Through verification, by June 12, Major Lo Van Dung contacted Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong (born 1978, residing in Phong Dien ward, Hue City) - the account holder who mistakenly transferred the above amount of money.
After agreeing on the handling plan at the bank, Major Lo Van Dung and Ms. Huong's family in Dien Bien completed the necessary procedures to fully transfer the amount of nearly 500 million VND according to regulations.
