On the afternoon of April 3, Da Huoai 3 Commune Police (Lam Dong) said that the unit had just supported Ms. Kon So Ly Hoi (residing in the locality) to complete procedures to return nearly 500 million VND to a woman (residing in Hung Yen province) due to a mistaken transfer.
Previously, on March 31, Ms. N.T. H mistakenly transferred the above amount to Ms. Kon So Ly Hoi's ACB bank account.
Because this account has not been used since 2021 and does not remember the login information, Ms. Hoi does not know that money has been transferred in.
Meanwhile, Ms. H and her relatives repeatedly tried to contact her but did not receive a response.
Receiving the request for support, Da Huoai 3 Commune Police quickly verified and contacted Ms. Hoi to work; and at the same time supported the recovery of the account at the ACB Bank branch in Ward 2 Bao Loc (Lam Dong) to carry out procedures to return the entire amount of money.
The incident was resolved promptly, ensuring the rights of the mistaken transferee. After that, Ms. H sent a letter of thanks to the police force and Ms. Hoi.
