On the afternoon of April 5, leaders of Cat Tien Commune People's Committee (Gia Lai province) confirmed that a traffic accident had just occurred in the area, killing 1 person on the spot.
Initial information, the accident occurred at 11:19 am on the same day on coastal road DT639, Cat Tien - De Gi section (belonging to Phuong Phi village, Cat Tien commune).
At the above time, a crane-mounted car with license plate 77LD-000.xx driven by driver Nguyen Van C. (born 1983, residing in Huynh Gian Bac village, Tuy Phuoc Dong commune) collided with a motorbike with license plate 77Y2-20xx driven by Mr. Nguyen Van M. (born 1963, residing in Phu Hau village, Cat Tien commune) while traveling through the intersection area.
As a result, the collision caused Mr. M. to die on the spot.
According to images extracted from cameras of people's houses near the scene, before the accident occurred, the crane-mounted car continuously honked its horn to warn. However, the victim seemed not to hear and continued to drive his motorbike through the intersection.
Upon receiving the news, Cat Tien Commune Police came to protect the scene, regulate, divert traffic and verify initial information.
Currently, functional agencies have examined the scene, investigated, and clarified the cause of the accident for handling according to regulations.
