More than 160,000 visitors come to Hue heritage site on Tet holiday

On January 29-30 (the first and second days of Tet), the Hue Monuments Conservation Center organized many art activities and traditional ceremonies to welcome the New Year of the Snake 2025.

On the first day of Tet, despite the cold and rainy weather, many locals and tourists still came to visit and experience the reenactment activities at Hue Imperial City. On this day, the relics of the Hue Monuments Complex are open to visitors free of charge.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year last year, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center opened its doors for free to domestic residents and tourists to visit Hue heritage on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd days. However, this year, the free tickets will only be applied on the 1st day of the Lunar New Year, while the 2nd and 3rd days will still collect tickets as usual.

The Hue Monuments Conservation Center informed that on the first and second days of the lunar calendar alone, more than 16,000 visitors came to visit Hue heritage. Of which, more than 6,989 were international visitors and 9,776 were Vietnamese visitors, with total revenue estimated at more than 2.3 billion VND.
