After graduating from 7:50 p.m. in combat, Bush was accepted to Yale University, but because of the US involvement in World War II, he decided to join the US Navy when he had just turned 18. In the last years of his life, he spent time enjoying his favorite entertainment, watching sports like soccer and baseball. In 2017, he was still a guest at the Super Bowl 51 football tournament.

He passed away on November 30, 2018 at the age of 94.
