Dien Bien - Tuan Giao District Stadium is expected to be 29,427.38 m2 wide, with an investment capital of 44.5 billion VND, with a 2-storey grandstand and a capacity of 1,200 seats.

On the morning of November 14, Lao Dong's source said that the People's Committee of Dien Bien province has just issued Decision No. 2046 approving the investment project to build Tuan Giao District Stadium.

According to the document signed by Vice Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee Vu A Bang, the stadium will be located in Tuan Giao town, with an area of ​​29,427.38 m2, belonging to Group C project, with a total investment of 44.5 billion VND.

The investor is the People's Committee of Tuan Giao district, construction progress from 2024-2026. Of which, the capital provided by the province is 24.5 billion VND, the capital of the district is 20 billion VND.

Tuan Giao District Stadium is designed with the main competition area being a natural grass football field, surrounded by a running track and a 2-storey grandstand.

The stadium is built to complete the facilities, ensure conditions for physical training and sports for people, create conditions to improve physical quality, and serve the strategy of developing local athletes.

In addition, the yard is also a place to organize cultural exchanges, traditional festivals, sports competitions, mass performances to serve the district's annual anniversary...

Previously in 2021, Tuan Giao District People's Committee submitted a document to the Provincial People's Committee and the Department of Planning and Investment of Dien Bien province on the plan to build a district stadium.

According to the original plan, Tuan Giao Stadium is 19,995 m2 wide, with an investment cost of 50 billion VND.
