The Supreme People's Procuracy has just completed the indictment of the case of Organizing gambling and gambling, which occurred in Hanoi and other provinces and cities, related to the Vietnam-Korea Business Club, Hanoi branch (King Club, on the first floor of Pullman Hotel No. 40 Cat Linh, Cat Linh Ward, Dong Da old District, Hanoi) under Viet Hai Dang Investment and Entertainment Services Company Limited.
Of the 6 defendants prosecuted by the prosecution agency for organizing gambling and 136 for gambling, there are two people of public interest, namely former Secretary of the Hoa Binh City Party Committee (old Hoa Binh Province) Ngo Ngoc Duc and former Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Tho Province Ho Dai Dung.
Gambling is unacceptable for leaders, these two officials gambling with too much money, making people angry.
From February 5, 2024 to June 22, 2024, Mr. Duc gambled 74 times, with a total amount of money Mr. Duc spent gambling of more than 4.26 million USD.
From February 4, 2024 to June 22, 2024, Mr. Ho Dai Dung gambled 95 times, spending more than 7 million USD. The most played time was more than 330,000 USD, equivalent to nearly 8 billion VND.
In 4 months of gambling with an amount of 7 million USD, it was truly unimaginable, especially if the gambler was an official.
There is no need to ask these former officials where they get that much money to gamble because they have their own answers. Only money without sweat and tears can beat a match of 8 billion VND.

The folk say "the gambler is thirsty for water", meaning that if they are caught up in gambling, they cannot stop, the winner will continue to play to win more, the loser will play to get rid of it. Officials involved in gambling will find every way to have money to satisfy their blood, where to find money that costs up to millions of USD?
Mr. Ngo Ngoc Duc and Ho Dai Dung were prosecuted for the crime of "Gambling", that is clear.
But they are not like those prosecuted for "Gambling" in this case, Mr. Duc and Mr. Dung are officials, gambling with too much money, so they do not stop at this behavior.
