On August 12, 2026, Cau Giay Ward Health Station organized the Launching Ceremony of the "Smart Health Station" model, marking an important step in the digital transformation process, modernizing grassroots healthcare and improving the quality of service to the people.

Sharing at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Tuan - Director of Cau Giay Ward Health Station said that the Station is one of the inner-city Health Stations selected to pilot the "Smart Health Station" model according to Official Dispatch No. 674/SYT-QLBHYTCNTT of the Hanoi Department of Health. The Station currently receives an average of 250 visits/day, of which an average of 180 visits are indicated for diagnostic imaging and 60 visits are indicated for testing.
Before deployment, diagnostic imaging and testing equipment operated independently, data was still scattered, many stages required manual data entry and storage; some medical programs were not interconnected, putting pressure on officials and limiting the effectiveness of searching and managing patient data.
To overcome this, the Station has synchronously deployed solutions on infrastructure, software, data and processes, including connecting HIS with PACS, LIS, deploying electronic medical records... Through this, diagnostic imaging and test data are connected and stored centrally; reducing manual data entry; supporting medical staff to quickly look up patient information. People can gradually register for online examinations, check-in, get automatic numbers and look up examination results in the electronic environment.

At the ceremony, Mr. Tran Van Chung - Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Health emphasized that this is a direction suitable for the requirements of grassroots health innovation in the current period. The application of information technology, data connection and process digitization needs to continue to be implemented practically, associated with the effectiveness of professional activities and the quality of service to the people.
Mr. Tran Van Chung requested the Health Station to continue to promote the spirit of proactiveness and creativity, gradually improve the model, effectively exploit digital platforms and health data, thereby contributing to improving management capacity, professional support and quality of people's health care right from the grassroots level.

Speaking to direct, Mr. Ngo Ngoc Phuong - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of Cau Giay Ward People's Committee emphasized: Grassroots healthcare is the nearest healthcare line to the people, playing an important role in disease prevention, primary health care, health management and early detection of health problems right in the community.
Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of Cau Giay Ward People's Committee requested the Station to focus on 4 key tasks:
First, truly put people at the center;
Second, effectively exploit digital technology, strengthen connection and professional support;
Third, especially emphasizing the human factor, improving the digital capacity of the medical staff;
Fourth, strengthen communication and guidance so that people can actively participate and use digital utilities.
The implementation needs to be evaluated regularly by specific results: Are people more convenient; is the time to complete procedures reduced; are health records updated more fully; do medical staff work more effectively; is improved chronic disease management, vaccination and early detection of health risks.
