This is an award organized annually by the Asian Economic Research Institute in collaboration with the Vietnam Association of Science and Enterprise Development, selected based on Vietnamese and international quality standards to honor prestigious Vietnamese brands of the Asia-Pacific region, with positive contributions to society, wide coverage and good compliance with legal regulations.
The event recognized VNVC's efforts over the past 8 years as not only the leading vaccination system in Vietnam but also investing heavily in comprehensive training to improve the quality of highly specialized and skilled human resources, creating an ideal working environment for tens of thousands of doctors, nurses, and medical staff.
Mr. Vo Tuan Hien, Human Resources Director of VNVC Vaccination System, said that VNVC is the first and only vaccination unit in Vietnam to build a highly specialized and specialized human resource model with more than 10,000 people, including more than 3,000 doctors, nearly 4,000 nurses and more than 3,000 professional medical staff after only 8 years of operation. In 2024, the entire VNVC system opened more than 50 vaccination centers, with the number of employees increasing by more than 1,000 people during the year.
At VNVC, 100% of doctors and nurses are certified in Vaccination Safety; nearly 90% of nurses are highly skilled at level 3/4, level 4/4 are highly specialized levels, capable of training nurses at lower levels; 100% of employees are regularly trained in professional knowledge, expertise, and advanced customer service skills.
MSc. Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh, Director of Nursing at VNVC shared that at VNVC, when recruiting, a nurse, even if she has met high standards compared to the general level of the labor market, will still be trained in professional skills and continuous services for 2 to 3 months before being allowed to work at the VNVC center in the position of injection assistant. Only after a few months of practical experience serving customers, will the nurse be able to take the exam for the main injection position.
“Each nurse will participate in periodic skill tests to confirm their abilities and have the opportunity to advance, increase their salary, and receive bonuses according to regulations. Therefore, everyone is trying very hard to study, practice, and serve customers with safe and gentle vaccinations,” added nurse Kim Oanh.
VNVC is also a pioneer in training and developing high-quality human resources in many niche areas such as logistics staff, operating and controlling the quality of international standard cold storage to be able to operate and control a system of hundreds of large-scale cold storages for preserving vaccines nationwide according to the strictest standards to ensure the quality and safety of vaccines.
At VNVC, every day there are classes and courses in many different areas of expertise and skills. 100% of employees in different job positions must participate in courses according to their expertise and levels as specified. The human resource and training management system will monitor, compile statistics and report on the learning and training results of each individual and unit, in order to develop training strategies to improve the professional capacity and comprehensive skills of employees.
In just 8 years, VNVC has grown strongly, quickly opening more than 200 large, modern, and safe vaccination centers nationwide, serving tens of millions of customers each year, contributing to changing the appearance and quality of the vaccination sector in Vietnam. As of October 2024, VNVC has brought in and deployed the first injections in Vietnam of 14 new vaccines for children and adults such as dengue fever, herpes zoster (shingles), new generation meningococcal B, pneumococcal 23, Gardasil 9, etc.
Recently, VNVC announced the investment in building a vaccine and biological products factory with the world's leading modern technology according to EU GMP standards (good manufacturing practices according to European standards) to move towards producing vaccines and biological drugs right in Vietnam.
With outstanding contributions and efforts over the past 8 years, the VNVC Vaccination System has been awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Prime Minister in recognition of its outstanding contributions in disease prevention and has been recognized by prestigious organizations for many years as the pharmaceutical company at the top of the rankings of Top 10 most prestigious pharmaceutical companies in Vietnam; Top 10 most famous brands in Vietnam; "No. 1 brand in Vietnam - Best products and services for consumers 2024" ... affirming the prestige, quality and trust of tens of millions of Vietnamese families who have confidently chosen VNVC as a place to safely vaccinate and protect their health.
