From July 1, the Ministry of Public Security has deployed nationwide the issuance of level 2 electronic identification accounts to foreigners residing in Vietnam.

To date, more than 62 million electronic identification accounts for people have been granted and activated.

The VNeID application has just integrated a new feature to serve passengers getting on a plane from buying tickets, going through security checkpoints... the entire process without paperwork.
