When the demand for electricity for daily use increases dramatically, electricity bills increase abnormally, saving electricity becomes an urgent solution to ensure energy security. The Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Energy Efficiency and Sauciety Use (effective from January 1, 2026) and Resolution 70-NQ/TW of the Politburo have just issued legal regulations to implement energy saving, including electricity saving.

According to the plan, on May 23, the National Assembly will discuss the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Energy Efficiency and Conservation (SDNLTK&HQ).
