Energy saving Key to sustainable development

In the context of rising electricity and fuel prices and increasing pressure for green transformation, saving energy is no longer a call but has become an urgent requirement to maintain sustainable growth and protect the environment.

With the goal of bringing practical solutions and supporting the community to better understand the importance of energy saving, Lao Dong Newspaper organized a seminar program with the theme: "Economic and efficient use of energy - Sustainable solutions for businesses and people", at 9:30 am to 10:30 am on August 28, 2025.

The program has the participation of leading experts in the field of energy and sustainable development:

Mr. Cu Huy Quang, Head of the Department of Energy Efficiency and Green Transformation, Department of Innovation, Green Transformation and Industrial Promotion (Ministry of Industry and Trade).

Mr. Pham Viet Thach, Deputy Head of the Environment and Sustainable Development Department, Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN).

Mr. Ha Dang Son, Director of the Center for Energy Research and Green Growth.

The discussion program helps clarify important and practical issues that businesses and people are facing in the use of energy economically and efficiently.

That is, policies and models for implementing energy saving; Solutions for small and medium enterprises; Communication and changing energy consumption habits.

Guests will also discuss the possibility of expanding the ESCO (energy Service Companies) model in Vietnam, helping businesses and communities switch to using green, economical and efficient energy.

The program will also expand opportunities for dialogue between experts and readers. Questions related to energy saving, support policies, and efficient energy saving models will be answered directly.

The program was broadcast online on Lao Dong Electronic Newspaper (laodong.vn) and the newspaper's social networking platforms.

The seminar is part of Lao Dong Newspaper's efforts to accompany agencies, experts and businesses to spread the message of saving energy for a green and sustainable Vietnam.
