The Central Military Commission gave its opinion on the draft Decree regulating the positions and titles with the highest military ranks being Lieutenant General, Vice Admiral, Major General, and Rear Admiral.

The highest military rank of seconded Army officers is based on the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Officers of the Vietnam People's Army.

From December 1, graduates of the training course for Commanders of Military Commands at the commune level in the basic military sector, based on their training level, learning and training results, will be awarded the rank of reserve officer. Illustration photo: VGP

Graduates of the training course for Military Commanders of Communes and Military Branches at the grassroots level will be awarded military ranks if they meet the conditions according to regulations effective from December 1.
