The ASEAN Future Forum 2026 (ASEAN Future Forum - AFF) will take place on June 9 and 10 in Hanoi, with the theme "Shaping a common future: Peace, Prosperity, putting people at the center".
The ASEAN Future Forum is a Vietnamese initiative, announced at the ASEAN Summit in 2023.
Through 2 sessions of organization in 2024 and 2025, many ideas and initiatives from the Forum have been received and reflected in documents of ASEAN Summits in the same year.
This year, the Forum takes place right at the time ASEAN is implementing the ASEAN Community Vision 2045.
This is also the first major high-level multilateral foreign affairs event chaired by Vietnam after the 14th Party Congress, the 16th National Assembly election and People's Councils at all levels.
