Google Doodle today (March 8) honors International Women's Day 2023.

Doodle today honors International Women's Day through ways women support women, according to Google.

The paintings in each letter GOOGLE highlight some of the many areas where women around the world support each other to progress and improve the quality of life.

"Women in influential positions, who support progress in central issues in women's lives everywhere. Women come together to explore, learn and gather for their own gain. Women are the main caregivers for people of all walks of life. Women are an important support system for each other in motherhood," Google emphasized in its annual Doodle honoring each other on March 8.

"To honor women around the world who are supporting each other in all aspects of life - Happy International Women's Day!" - Google shared in an introduction to Google Doodle on March 8, 2023.

Google Doodle is a special celebration of International Women's Day, designed by illustrator Alyssa Winans.

According to Winans, Doodle's theme this year is "women support women", "so I was able to spend a lot of time reflecting on all the ways other women support me in life".

The artist who performed Doodle on International Women's Day 2023 shared: "I am the youngest child in a family of 3 daughters, so since I was born, I have always received many benefits from the advice and support of older adults. I am grateful for that as well as grateful for all the ways I have witnessed women standing up for each other and for the value of women".

Alyssa Winans hopes that Google users around the world, after seeing the Doodle celebrating International Women's Day, will consider this a starting point to reflect the breadth, complexity, multi- sact and power of feminism.
