A video circulating on Chinese social media recorded a fight between a group of taekwondo students and a group of gymnasium staff. The incident like in a martial arts film happened at a bustling shopping mall in Jiangsu Province.
According to SCMP, taekwondo players are participating in promotional activities for their schools but have caused a big stir. The group of students then clashed with a group of staff from the gym of this shopping mall.
The controversy broke out and ended with a fierce punch. The gym staff with the height advantage has dominated and scaled down the taekwondo players, according to the initial video of the incident.
However, some videos filmed from other angles posted on YouTube show some taekwondo players lying on the floor as the gym staff stepped back, seemingly to make them look as if they were injured when police and security forces arrived at the scene to intervene, according to SCMP.
