This is the survey result announced by the Russian General Public Opinion Research Center (VTsIOM) after conducting it with 1,600 adults in Russia.
According to the All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center, 76.7% of respondents said they trust Mr. Putin, while the rate of positive assessment of the president's activities reached 70.4%.
The activities of the Russian Government received the support of 45.9% of survey participants, while the work of Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin was positively assessed by 48.5% of respondents. The percentage of Russians surveyed who expressed confidence in Mr. Mishustin reached 56.9%.
Survey participants were also asked about their views on leaders of political parties represented in the Russian parliament.
The confidence rate for Chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (KPRF) Gennady Zyuganov is 32.6%; leader of the Fair Russia party Sergey Mironov reached 27.2%; leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) Leonid Slutsky reached 20%; while Chairman of the New People's Party Alexey Nechaev reached 11.8%.
Regarding the level of support for political parties, the United Russia party leads with 33.8%, followed by the New People's Party with 12%, KPRF with 10.7%, LDPR with 9.4% and the Fair Russia party with 5.7%.
