On the morning of August 22, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa province coordinated with the Vietnam Department of Physical Education and Sports, Vietnam Skating and Roller Sports Federation to organize the opening ceremony of the National Club Roller Sports Championship 2026.
The tournament takes place from February 20-24 at the Khanh Hoa Provincial Sports Center, gathering nearly 170 professional and semi-professional athletes from 25 clubs and units in provinces and cities with developed Roller Sports movements.

Athletes came from Ho Chi Minh City, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Hai Phong, Da Nang, Can Tho, Tay Ninh, Dong Thap, Dong Nai, Lam Dong and People's Police.
At the tournament, athletes competed in 26 Speed Patin events, 14 Art Patin events and 4 Slopestyle events.
The tournament is an activity to celebrate the 81st anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2026) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2026).
This is also a playground for athletes to have the opportunity to rub shoulders, exchange, and show their skills. Through this, evaluate the quality of the training movement at clubs.
The organizers expect the tournament to contribute to discovering and selecting outstanding athletes for the national team, towards regional and international arenas.
Mr. Nguyen Tuan Thanh - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa province - said that in recent years, the Roller Sports movement in Vietnam has developed strongly, attracting a large number of young people to participate.
Khanh Hoa's hosting of the tournament is expected to contribute to spreading the spirit of youthful and modern sports; and at the same time introduce the image of friendly and hospitable Khanh Hoa homeland and people, along with potentials and strengths in culture and tourism.
