The organizers have not yet arranged a replacement accommodation, so members of the sports delegation can continue to stay on the ship during their travel.
The time the ship returns to port also completely depends on the storm's developments. In unfavorable scenarios, returning may take about 48 hours. This is a factor that could affect the schedule of athletes who have to move from the ship to the competition venues.
The organizers have also considered the situation where athletes cannot compete because they have to evacuate. At that time, the Asian Olympic Council, the organizers and related sports federations will discuss plans, including the possibility of adjusting the schedule or competition content.
