The Organizing Committee of the 33rd SEA Games volleyball tournament has announced the regulations for indoor competition and beach competition.
For indoor volleyball, the compulsory health regulations of the Organizing Committee have 10 contents. In particular, the fourth content of the regulation specifically states: athletes participating in womens content must comply with testing regulations on gender-based disorder when necessary.
The remaining contents belong to the scope of doping prevention and control.

Thus, for the first time, the regulation "athletes participating in women's events must comply with testing regulations on gender determination disorder when necessary" is included in the volleyball competition program of the Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games). This content has not been available at previous SEA Games.
