The Vietnamese women's volleyball team remains ranked 32nd in the world. This is the ranking that coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team achieved after winning 3rd place at the FIVB Challenger Cup 2024.

Currently, Bich Tuyen and his teammates are attending the Future Stars 2024 international friendly tournament in Shanghai (China). Vietnam U20 men's team participates in the 2024 U20 Asian Championship
Currently, the Vietnam U20 young men's volleyball team is present in Indonesia to participate in the 2024 U20 Asian Youth Championship from July 23-30. The team's goal in this tournament is to try to pass the group stage with the highest results.
The 12 players participating in this tournament are Nguyen Huu Trinh, Pham Xuan Sinh, Truong Cong Nguyen, Le Anh Dung, Tran Manh Hung, Trinh Ngoc Dat, Duong Duc Hai, Dang Nguyen Xuan Hop, Tang Ngoc Hieu, Ly Dinh Quy, Nguyen Van Thanh and Dinh Van Tri.
"The players of the entire team have been professionally prepared for an important period of time. All members are ready to compete in the tournament. This is the first time the players have competed in an important tournament at the European youth championship level. So we encourage all of the students to be confident and enter the competition with their best efforts," said head coach Hoang Van Phuong.
According to the draw of the Asian Volleyball Confederation, the U20 Vietnam men's volleyball team is in Group D with U20 Korea, U20 Thailand and U20 Kazakhstan.
