Ho Chi Minh City Police enter the final of the Hung Vuong Cup 2026 volleyball tournament

The men's volleyball team of Ho Chi Minh City Police won the right to enter the final of the Hung Vuong Cup 2026 after a 3-0 victory over The Cong Tan Cang.

The semi-final 2 of the Hung Vuong Cup 2026 men's event between Ho Chi Minh City Police and The Cong Tan Cang is assessed as balanced in terms of professional quality and force.

However, the developments on the field leaned towards Ho Chi Minh City Police when this team maintained stability in organization, exploited good attacking power from foreign players, and maintained the connection between domestic players.

In the first 2 sets, the Police sector team controlled the game well, limited errors and maintained a safe point gap to win 25-17, 25-20 respectively.

In set 3, The Cong Tan Cang significantly improved their defense and attacking ability to score points. At one point, Duc Hoang and his teammates led the opponent 2-3 points to close the set, but they did not maintain their focus in the final minutes, allowing Cong An TPHCM to reverse and win 26-24.

With this victory, Ho Chi Minh City Police won a ticket to the final of the Hung Vuong Cup 2026, thereby having a rematch with the defending champion Bien Phong.
