Immediately after closing the season in Japan, Tran Thi Bich Thuy immediately joined Hoa Chat Duc Giang Lao Cai to participate in round 1 of the 2026 National Club Volleyball Championship.
The return of the 26-year-old middle blocker quickly created a difference in the playing style, thereby helping the team win 3-0 against LPB Ninh Binh on the afternoon of April 10.
In this match, Bich Thuy had an impressive performance when scoring 25 points, becoming the top scorer of Duc Giang Chemicals.
In which, she scored 13 attacking points with an efficiency of up to 72%, along with 9 blocks and 3 serves. This statistic shows the comprehensiveness and superior efficiency of the middle blocker born in 2000.

Not only outstanding in scoring points, Bich Thuy also plays a leading role in maintaining the pace of play, especially in times when the team faces difficulties. The ability to read situations, move flexibly, and international competition experience help her always appear at the right time to relieve pressure for teammates.
Sharing about the decision to return to Vietnam to play, Bich Thuy said: "The force of the Duc Giang Chemical team this year is no longer as good as in previous years, so I have asked the Board of Directors of the Japanese team to return to Vietnam to play and support the home team.
I am very grateful to Okayama Seagulls for supporting and honing many skills, helping me improve myself, and creating conditions to return to play in Vietnam.
The time playing football in Japan has helped Bich Thuy improve both in expertise and bravery. This is clearly shown through the stability in each handling as well as the ability to create breakthroughs at key moments.
In the context that Hoa Chat Duc Giang Lao Cai no longer possesses a thick and even force as before, Bich Thuy's role becomes even more important. She is not only the main attacking spearhead, but also a spiritual support, contributing to maintaining cohesion in the squad.
With an impressive performance right in the opening match, Bich Thuy is proving the value of one of the leading middle blockers in Vietnamese women's volleyball, and is also a factor that can make a difference for the team in the fierce race this season.
