VTV9 - Binh Dien Cup 2026 takes place in Tay Ninh with the participation of 8 teams including VTV Binh Dien Long An (host), LPBank Ninh Binh, Binh Chung Thong Tin, Vietinbank, Hanoi and Jiangsu (China, Suwon (Korea), Gunma Green Wings (Japan).
The tournament witnessed the final match between VTV Binh Dien Long An and Jiangsu (China) on the evening of May 23. Jiangsu won 3-0 and won the championship.
In previous competitions, the VTV9 - Binh Dien Cup once took place in Dong Nai in 2011. At that time, the team that won the championship was Binh Chung Thong Tin.
Currently, VTV9 - Binh Dien Cup is the only international competition program held in Vietnam for women's football teams at the club level, not for the national team.
According to the plan, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet will focus on the Vietnamese women's volleyball team after the VTV9 - Binh Dien Cup 2026 ends. In this tournament, many faces in good form have been included in the list of 14 national volleyball players in 2026.
