According to Lao Dong's investigation, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation is developing a program to prepare for the 8th term Congress at the end of April.
This year, term 7 (2021-2026) ends working time. Therefore, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation will organize the 8th term Congress to elect a new Executive Committee.
In the 7th term, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation elected an Executive Committee of 24 members. Mr. Hoang Ngoc Huan (former Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Cable Television Corporation-VTVCab) was elected to hold the position of Chairman. In the 7th term, Mr. Le Tri Truong was appointed as General Secretary.
Currently, personnel work of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation term 8 is being completed according to regulations.
According to research, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation has found a candidate to run for the position of Chairman in the new term. It is almost certain that Chairman Hoang Ngoc Huan will not continue to run for the executive committee of term 8.
In term 7, Vietnamese volleyball once aimed to improve achievements at the SEA Games arena. The Vietnamese women's volleyball team won silver medals at SEA Games 31, 32 and 33 while the Vietnamese men's volleyball team had a silver medal at SEA Games 31, a bronze medal at SEA Games 32.
