The 2025 season of Vietnamese volleyball will start next March. Therefore, players in many teams will have just enough Tet holiday to spend with their families before returning to the professional training routine.
Speaking to Lao Dong, a member of the coaching staff of the Information Corps women's volleyball team said: "We finished training on January 23. Today (January 24), the team members will return home to prepare for Tet. On February 3 (the 6th day of the first lunar month), the team will gather and open the field."
2025 is considered a pivotal year when the military team has a change in the position of head coach and sponsor. This is a very favorable condition for the Information Corps club to continue training and competing to achieve high results.
As soon as Mr. Pham Van Long returned to lead the players, this military leader created a lively training atmosphere recently. After Tet, some tournaments will start right away so the players of the Information Corps are always ready for new tasks.
Meanwhile, the 2024 national champion VTV Binh Dien Long An also prioritizes professional focus. The players of the Western team will return to training to soon move to the North to get used to the climate.
"Our team finished training last weekend. The coaching staff has made a plan for professional preparation and right after Tet holiday, the players and coaching staff will move to the North to get used to the climate early, practice professional preparation to participate in tournaments," said coach Thai Quang Lai.
The team is expected to return on February 3.
