On the evening of January 27, at the new city's Central Park, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Duong province held the opening ceremony of the Spring Flower Festival, Spring Newspaper Festival and activities to celebrate the Lunar New Year 2025.
Attending the event were Mr. Nguyen Van Loi - Secretary of Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Loc - Chairman of Binh Duong Provincial People's Council, along with leaders of agencies, departments, branches and Thu Dau Mot city.
The 2025 At Ty Spring Flower Festival of Binh Duong province has 700 works by more than 100 artisans inside and outside Binh Duong province to display and compete.
These are works that demonstrate the dynamism, diligence and creativity of artisans and gardeners, contributing to praising the achievements of Binh Duong people over 28 years of construction and development.
Every year, the Spring Flower Festival has become an indispensable destination during the traditional Tet holiday of Binh Duong people. This place displays ornamental flowers, ornamental birds, ornamental fish, miniature landscapes, rockeries, fine art stones, etc. for people to come and enjoy in early spring.
Also at the new city central park, there is a flower street activity to welcome the New Year. The flower street is decorated with miniature landscapes, models, and colored lights to welcome the New Year with the theme "Binh Duong, the convergence of spring colors".
Also here, the Spring Newspaper Festival takes place to introduce to visitors the achievements of innovation of the homeland and country in all fields of politics, economy, society, security and defense.
The Spring Newspaper Festival with the theme "Celebrating the Party, Celebrating Spring" gathered 300 spring publications from 63 provinces and cities across the country and displayed and exhibited 1,000 books about the Party, Uncle Ho, traditional Tet, and Vietnamese festival culture.
At the Spring Newspaper Festival, there is also a space decorated with “Tet Sum Vay” and a “tea and book” space for visitors to take souvenir photos and read books. View the exhibition with the theme “Tet flavor, Vietnamese soul” to recreate the space of Tet in the past.
According to records, on the opening day, thousands of people and workers in Binh Duong province came to visit.
