On the afternoon of February 15, as planned, the 24th Fun Cup International Sailing Surfing Tournament in 2025 continued to take place on the second day of competition and closed, awarding prizes in Ham Tien ward, Phan Thiet city, Binh Thuan province.
However, due to light winds, the athletes could not compete and had to move to February 16.

This is an annual International Sailing Tournament, aimed at domestic and international male and female (professional and amateur) athletes who are passionate about sailing.
Competing in this year's tournament are nearly 20 athletes from many countries.

With the competition rules according to the Competition Law of the World Sailing Surfing Association, athletes participating in the competition distance of 3,600m (wind trend) for professional and amateur athletes male and female.
Athletes are drawn into groups to compete, choosing the top position in the next round to continue competing to select the champion for each event.

The Organizing Committee chose the right wind speed time of the day for the athletes to compete, because there is enough strong wind power to blow the sails, making the surfing movements with the athletes on the sea.


The 2025 Fun Cup International Sailing Tournament is also an opportunity to promote the potential and strengths of tourism - sea sports in Binh Thuan to tourists.
Aiming for a national sea sports tourism center, Binh Thuan will scale up the Mai Ne international sailing tournament in 2025 and best prepare all conditions to successfully organize the international kitchens surfing tournament in 2026.
