Pork prices nationwide cool down
The Vietnamese pig market today, January 23, decreased slightly compared to yesterday. The highest transaction price was 69,000 VND/kg and the lowest was 66,000 VND/kg.
The North recorded a loss of 69,000 VND/kg, the average regional pork price reached 67,700 VND/kg.
Some provinces and cities have the same price of live pigs at 68,000 VND/kg such as Hanoi, Phu Tho, Tuyen Quang, Thai Nguyen, Vinh Phuc, Hung Yen...
In the Central region, pork prices decreased simultaneously in the provinces: Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh... The regional average decreased to 66,600 VND/kg.
Meanwhile, in the southern provinces and cities, the price of live pigs fluctuated slightly. Dong Nai and Kien Giang decreased by 1 price to the same level of 68,000 VND/kg, Tien Giang to 67,000 VND/kg. The remaining provinces remained stable at around 68,100 VND/kg.
Finished meat products at supermarkets keep stable prices
According to Lao Dong reporters at supermarkets in Hanoi, the price of finished pork products remains stable.
At AEON Long Bien supermarket (Hanoi), for CP pork, the price of lean thigh is 165,000 VND/kg, lean shoulder is 165,000 VND/kg, shoulder meat is 150,000 VND/kg, fat is 125,000 VND/kg, boneless ham is 160,000 VND/kg, lean ham is 195,000 VND/kg, pork belly is 175,000 VND/kg...
