Retail gasoline and oil prices today, May 23rd, at the system of Vietnam Oil Corporation - JSC (PVOIL) continue to be applied according to the adjustment level from the operating period at 3:00 PM on May 21st of the inter-Ministry of Industry and Trade - Finance.

According to PVOIL's latest price list, RON 95-III gasoline is currently sold at 25,540 VND/liter. This continues to be the most popular gasoline item with the highest price in the enterprise's distribution system. E10 RON 95-III gasoline is currently listed at 25,050 VND/liter, while E5 RON 92-II bio-gasoline is sold at 24,340 VND/liter.
In the oil group, DO 0.05S-II oil is currently sold at 28,760 VND/liter, while DO 0.001S-V oil is anchored at 30,020 VND/liter. The new price level shows that the diesel oil group has returned to the price range above 28,000 - 30,000 VND/liter after many consecutive fluctuations.
According to records, PVOIL currently sells RON 95-III gasoline at 25,540 VND/liter, E10 RON 95-III gasoline at 25,050 VND/liter and E5 RON 92-II gasoline at 24,340 VND/liter. Meanwhile, Petrolimex lists the same price in region 1, but is about 480-600 VND/liter higher in region 2 due to additional transportation and distribution costs.
This price increase reflects pressure from the upward trend of world oil prices in the context that the global energy market continues to be affected by supply concerns and geopolitical tensions in the Middle East. In addition, increased fuel consumption demand during the peak transportation and tourism season is also a factor supporting the level of gasoline and oil prices to remain at a high level.
In the context of strong fluctuations in international oil prices, the market is continuing to closely monitor the next operating periods to assess the new trend of domestic fuel prices.
