Announcement of the Decision of the Party Central Committee on Personnel Work in Bình Định
On August 6, the Permanent Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee of Bình Định organized a conference to announce the Decision of the Party Central Committee on Personnel Work.
At the conference, Mr. Nguyễn Giờ, Head of the Organization Commission of the Provincial Party Committee of Bình Định, announced Decision No. 1387-QĐNS/TW dated July 17, 2024 of the Party Central Committee on the approval of Major General Đỗ Xuân Hùng, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Commander of the Military Command of Bình Định, to join the Permanent Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee of Bình Định, term 2020-2025.
On behalf of the Permanent Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee of Bình Định, Mr. Hồ Quốc Dũng, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council of Bình Định, congratulated Major General Đỗ Xuân Hùng on being highly evaluated and trusted by the Provincial Party Committee of Bình Định, nominated, elected, and approved by the Party Central Committee to join the Permanent Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee of Bình Định, term 2020-2025.
Appointment of the President of the Military Court of the 3rd Military Region
The Supreme People's Court recently organized a ceremony to announce and award the decision appointing the President of the Military Court of the 3rd Military Region.
At the ceremony, Lieutenant General Dương Văn Thăng, Deputy President of the Supreme People's Court, President of the Military Court of the Central Military Region, awarded the decision of the President of the Supreme People's Court appointing Major General Nguyễn Quang Hạnh, Head of the Organization- Personnel Department, Military Court of the Central Military Region, to the position of President of the Military Court of the 3rd Military Region.
On this occasion, the Military Command of the 3rd Military Region announced the Decision on retirement of Major General Phạm Văn Vinh, former President of the Military Court of the 3rd Military Region, and organized the handover of duties and tasks for two comrades.
Handover of the Position of Division Commander of Division 3
Recently, Division 3 organized a conference to hand over the position of Division Commander of Division 3. Lieutenant General Nguyễn Hồng Thái, Member of the Central Committee, Commander of the Military Region, chaired the conference.
Implementing the decisions on personnel work of the Minister of National Defense, Major General Nguyễn Văn Lịch, Division Commander of Division 3, was appointed as Deputy Chief of Staff of the Military Region; handed over the content of work and the position of Division Commander to Major General Nguyễn Anh Tuấn, Deputy Division Commander, Chief of Staff of Division 3.
Commendation of Brave Border Guards Who Rescued Flood Victims
On August 4, Border Guard Post 1 (Border Guard of Cao Bằng Province) organized a commendation and award ceremony for individuals who bravely and promptly rescued people swept away by floodwaters.
Earlier, on the night of August 2, 13-year-old Hoàng Ngọc Hân (born in 2011, Nà Thoang hamlet, Đình Phong commune, Trùng Khánh district, Cao Bằng Province) was unfortunately swept away by floodwaters while crossing the Ta Nay underground bridge, Ngọc Khê commune.
At the time of the accident, the Border Guard Post 1's working team had timely discovered the situation. At that moment, Private First Class Lý Văn Vũ (born in 2003, enlisted in February 2023) jumped into the large river to rescue the victim. The working team supported and approached to bring Hân to the shore safely. After being first-aided, the victim recovered and was taken back home by the working team.
