On September 17, the Ministry of Public Security held a ceremony to announce the Decision of the Minister of Public Security on personnel work of the Internal Political Security Department.
At the ceremony, representatives of the leadership of the Department of Organization and Personnel announced the decision of the Minister of Public Security on the transfer and appointment of Colonel Nguyen Dai Dong - Deputy Director of Da Nang City Police to receive work and hold the position of Director of the Internal Political Security Department from September 18.
Speaking at the ceremony, Senior Lieutenant General Pham The Tung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security congratulated Colonel Nguyen Dai Dong on being recognized and trusted by the Standing Committee of the Central Public Security Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security to be transferred and appointed to hold the position of Director of the Internal Political Security Department.
Deputy Minister Pham The Tung requested Colonel Nguyen Dai Dong to constantly strive, promote political bravery, working capacity, and sense of responsibility. Together with the Party Committee and leaders of the Internal Political Security Department, unite and unify, lead and direct the unit to effectively implement the task of protecting national security, ensuring internal political security according to its functions and tasks. The Deputy Minister of Public Security requested the Internal Political Security Department to proactively grasp the situation, promptly advise and effectively handle emerging complex issues on internal political security, cultural and ideological security, information and communication security, and protect state secrets, ensuring not to be passive or surprised in any situation; maintain discipline, order, internal solidarity and pay attention to fostering and training the contingent of leaders, officers, and successor soldiers in the unit.
