Ministry of Home Affairs has new Deputy Minister

Mr. Cao Huy - Deputy Head of the Government Office - was transferred and appointed to the position of Deputy Minister of Home Affairs.

On December 28, the Government Office announced that Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed Decision No. 1669/QD-TTg to transfer and appoint Mr. Cao Huy - Deputy Head of the Government Office - to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Home Affairs.

The Decision takes effect from January 1, 2025.

Mr. Cao Huy was born in 1968, hometown Hai Duong province.

Before being appointed as Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Mr. Cao Huy held the following positions: Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Government Office; Vice Chairman of the Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee; Deputy Chief of the Office of the Government Party Personnel Committee, Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel of the Government Office; Deputy Director of the Government Office.

Thus, from January 1, 2025, the Ministry of Home Affairs will have 3 Deputy Ministers, including: Mr. Vu Chien Thang, Mr. Truong Hai Long and Mr. Cao Huy. The Minister of Home Affairs is Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Tra.
