On June 27, the People's Committee of Phu Tho province issued Decision No. 1621, approving the list of people who retire early and quit their jobs immediately according to Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP (amended and supplemented in Decree No. 67/2025/ND-CP of the Government).
According to the decision and list, there are a total of 921 cases of 18 agencies and units in the province approved for staff streamlining this time, including 692 people who retired early and 229 people who quit their jobs immediately.
The total budget to resolve the regime for the above 921 cases is 853.6 billion VND, of which the state budget allocates nearly 850 billion VND, the rest is paid by public service units.
The People's Committee of Phu Tho province assigned the Department of Home Affairs to be responsible before the law and the Provincial People's Committee for the appraisal results and the content to be submitted to the Provincial People's Committee for approval of the list.
At the same time, the Department of Finance is assigned to arrange funding and implement funding for agencies and units to pay for the subjects of staff reduction according to regulations and is responsible for synthesizing the cost settlement with the Ministry of Finance.
The Provincial People's Committee also requests Heads of agencies and units to base on the approved list, decide on early retirement, immediately quit their jobs and implement the regimes according to regulations for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers.
Assign the Department of Home Affairs and the Department of Finance to inspect, supervise, and report the results to the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Finance according to regulations.
