Chatting with the family of the late National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Huu Tho, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man recalled important milestones in the life and career of the late National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Huu Tho.
National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man said that 2026 is the 80th anniversary of the first General Election to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam (January 6, 1946 - January 6, 2026).
In the 80-year journey of formation and development of the National Assembly, the late National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Huu Tho made extremely important contributions, especially in the struggle for national liberation and reunification, as well as in the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland, especially for the South.

Providing information on key tasks in the coming time, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man emphasized that 2026 is of particular importance, being the first year to implement the socio-economic development plan for the period 2026 - 2030, opening a new era of development for the country.
