Son La Police Director becomes Mobile Police Commander

Major General Nguyen Ngoc Van, Director of Son La Provincial Police, was transferred to take up the position of Commander of Mobile Police (Ministry of Public Security) from November 6.

On the morning of November 2, in Hanoi, Major General Nguyen Ngoc Lam, Deputy Minister of Public Security, chaired the Ceremony to announce the Decision on personnel work at the Mobile Police Command (CSCD).

At the ceremony, Major General Pham Quang Tuyen, Deputy Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel, announced the Decision of the Minister of Public Security on the transfer of Major General Nguyen Ngoc Van - Director of Son La Provincial Police to take up the position of Mobile Police Commander from November 6, 2024.

On behalf of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Nguyen Ngoc Lam presented the Decision and flowers to congratulate Major General Nguyen Ngoc Van on being entrusted with the new responsibility.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Ngoc Lam affirmed that Major General Nguyen Ngoc Van is a cadre with good political qualities and ethics; has basic training in law, politics, and profession; has internal solidarity, has prestige with local Party committees and authorities; has leadership capacity, ability to oversee and manage the unit; has experience in many fields of work, has practical experience in directing professional work in both Security and Police; has a high sense of responsibility for work, and successfully completes assigned duties and tasks.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Ngoc Lam said that Major General Nguyen Ngoc Van being assigned to work and hold the position of Mobile Police Commander is an honor, but also a heavy responsibility assigned by the Central Public Security Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security.

In the coming time, the workload according to the functions and tasks of the Mobile Police Command is very large. The Central Party Committee of the Public Security and the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security request Major General Nguyen Ngoc Van to always make continuous efforts, promote his own experience and intelligence; continue to cultivate, absorb, and improve his working capacity, quickly integrate and grasp the work to lead and operate; Comply with the principles of "concentration, democracy", "collective leadership, individual responsibility", the regulations and rules of the Ministry of Public Security and the Mobile Police Command, together with the collective Standing Committee of the Party Committee, the leaders of the Mobile Police Command unite and build a clean, strong and exemplary unit...

Deputy Minister Nguyen Ngoc Lam also requested the Party Committee Standing Committee and leaders of the Mobile Police Command to unite, be unified, and share responsibility for the common goal, build a truly clean and strong collective; and organize and lead the unit to successfully complete all assigned tasks.

Speaking at the ceremony to receive the new assignment, the new Commander of the Mobile Police Nguyen Ngoc Van affirmed that he will seriously accept the opinions, instructions and tasks assigned by Deputy Minister Nguyen Ngoc Lam to continue to practice and cultivate revolutionary ethics, actively study and research theories, improve knowledge and professional expertise; uphold the Party's principles; maintain solidarity and unity, together with the Party Committee, leaders and officers and soldiers of the Mobile Police Command, strive to successfully complete the assigned political tasks.

Major General Nguyen Ngoc Van was born in 1976, his hometown is Viet Tri City, Phu Tho Province. He has a PhD in Law, People's Police University, majoring in Investigation Police; Senior Political Theory.

During his career, Major General Nguyen Ngoc Van has held the positions of Deputy Head of Department, Head of Department, Head of District Police; Deputy Director of Phu Tho Provincial Police.

From November 2019 to October 2024, Major General Nguyen Ngoc Van was transferred and appointed to the position of Director of Son La Provincial Police.
