On March 17, in Hanoi, the Politburo's Inspection Team No. 2023 and the Secretariat approved the draft report on the inspection results to the Central Military Commission.
Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee, Head of the Inspection Team and General Phan Van Giang - Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense - co-chaired the conference.
The draft report of the Inspection Team assessed that the Central Military Commission and the Central Military Commission Standing Committee have seriously disseminated and fully implemented Resolution No. 18, Directive No. 35, Resolution No. 57, Conclusion No. 123 and documents of the Central Committee, Politburo, Secretariat (documents of the Central Committee) to 100% of cadres, party members, and soldiers, including Conclusion No. 127-KL/TW, dated February 28, 2025.
Along with that, proactively, actively and promptly issued many documents to lead and direct party organizations, agencies and units to implement documents of the Central and Central Military Commission.

The Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense have promptly developed an inspection and supervision plan, assigned inspection tasks, and regularly supervised the implementation of central documents.
The Central Military Commission and the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission have led and directed agencies and units throughout the army to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement Conclusion No. 16-KL/TW, Resolution No. 05-NQ/TW of the Central Committee and have achieved many important results, 1 year ahead of schedule compared to the set target.
In particular, the military organization structure has adjustments between force components, in line with the identified strategies and determination to protect the Fatherland.
Agencies and units at all levels are adjusted in the direction of streamlining, streamlining, strengthening, reducing intermediary organizations, reducing the number of troops to ensure service, prioritizing the number of troops for units performing combat training tasks, being ready for combat, gradually overcoming overlapping functions and tasks.
Speaking at the conference, General Phan Van Giang - Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense - fully accepted the opinions and assessments of the Inspection Team in the draft report; analyzed and clarified some limitations and shortcomings.
General Phan Van Giang emphasized the characteristics of the Army's operations, especially those related to military secrets.
Therefore, we hope that the Inspection Team will share to consider and adjust the draft report before submitting it to the Politburo and the Secretariat for consideration and official conclusion.

Concluding the conference, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense in the work of disseminating and implementing the Central resolutions, directives and documents related to the inspected content.
Thereby, some contents in the draft inspection report were agreed upon. At the same time, it raised a number of issues related to the fields of economic production - defense, science, military technology, biotechnology, medicine, military pharmacy.
The Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee suggested that the Central Military Commission study, organize leadership and direction to implement it appropriately and effectively in the coming time.
On behalf of the Inspection Team, the Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee suggested that the Central Military Commission continue to promote the advantages and achieved results; focus on leadership and direction with focus on implementing the resolutions, directives and conclusions of the Central Committee, Politburo and Secretariat with a spirit of urgency and determination to achieve even higher results.
