Total State budget revenue of Quang Ninh as of June 30, 2024 reached 29,130 billion VND, equal to 54% of the central estimate, equal to 52% of the provincial estimate, equal to 101% over the same period. Of which, revenue from import and export reached 9,593 billion VND, equal to 77% of the central estimate, equal to 74% of the provincial estimate, an increase of 23% over the same period; Domestic revenue reached 19,532 billion VND, equal to 48% of the central estimate, equal to 46% of the provincial estimate, equal to 93% over the same period.
Growth drivers continue to have positive changes. Of which, the industrial and construction sector increased by 7.6%; The manufacturing and processing industry increased by 23.05%, 10.3% higher than the same period, being the main growth driver; service sector increased by 13.8%; Product tax increased by 4.7%; The agriculture, forestry and fishery sector maintained a good growth momentum, up 4.3%.
Growth drivers from investment, consumption, and exports grew and recovered more positively. Total social investment capital reached 48,035 billion VND, an increase of 9.1%; Tourists reached 10.4 million, an increase of 18%, of which international visitors reached nearly 2 million, an increase of 140% over the same period. Attracting foreign direct investment ( FDI ) reached 1.55 billion USD, reaching approximately 52% of the yearly plan, increasing 118% over the same period, ranking 3rd in the country (after Bac Ninh and Ba Ria - Vung China), accounting for 10% of the country's total FDI attraction of 15.2 billion USD. The whole province has 983 newly established enterprises, an increase of 12% over the same period, there are 140 newly established cooperatives, an increase of 629% over the same period. To date, the whole province has 11,590 businesses and 673 cooperatives in operation.
Based on the preliminary results of the second quarter, 6 months and the whole year forecast, the Provincial People's Committee builds and adjusts the growth scenario closely to the set targets. Of which, the growth rate for the whole year reached 10.9%; State budget revenue is not less than 55,600 billion VND; Total social investment capital increased by over 10%, the focus is on attracting FDI capital for the whole year reaching at least 3 billion USD; Total tourists reached 17-18 million visitors...
