The ceremony was announced in person at the Ministry of Public Security Hall and online to the 63 provincial police bridges.
At the Ceremony, the leaders of the Department of Organization and Personnel announced the Decisions of the Minister of Public Security on the organization of the provincial-level Public Security apparatus; the Decision of the Minister of Public Security on the transfer of the status quo of the provincial-level Public Security staff; at the same time, announced the Decision of the Minister of Public Security on personnel work for provincial-level Public Security leaders.
In which, the Minister of Public Security decided to arrange Major General Nguyen Van Han, Director of Kien Giang Provincial Police (before the merger) to hold the position of Director of An Giang Provincial Police (after the merger).
Major General Nguyen Van Han, born in 1971, hometown of Phuoc Long district, Bac Lieu province, is a cadre who has matured from the grassroots and has held many important positions in units in the People's Public Security force, with a lot of experience in fighting and preventing all types of crimes.
Previously, in April 2022, Colonel Nguyen Van Han (level at that time) Deputy Director of Bac Lieu Provincial Police was transferred and appointed to the position of Director of Kien Giang Provincial Police.
