On the afternoon of March 7, the Ministry of Public Security held a rehearsal of the Music Gala program " Glory of the Vietnam People's Public Security", along with many activities on the glorious tradition and power of the People's Public Security Force (CAND).
The series of activities was organized to celebrate 77 years of the People's Public Security Forces' study and implementation of the Six Commandments of Uncle Ho (October 11, 1945 - March 11, 2025), towards the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025).
In which, the Traffic Police Department will perform a motorcycle tour. The Mobile Police Command performs the flute and Cavalry music; trains the Cam Canh Canh and Criminal Assault situations.
The Guard Command performed a performance of the escort motorcycle formation. The Guard Command and the Mobile Police Command performed martial arts and airstrikes.
The rehearsal of the above event series took place at Hoan Kiem Lake and Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square (Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi).
According to Lao Dong's records on the afternoon of March 7, hundreds of people in the capital were present to watch these rehearsals. The official program took place at 7:30 a.m. on March 8 and 9.
Previously, at the 2nd Session of the Organizing Committee for Activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection, Lieutenant General Nguyen Ngoc Toan - Director of the Department of Political Affairs - reported on the progress of the implementation of commemorative activities.
Up to now, the Organizing Committee has completed organizing 5 major activities, including: Organizing the 2024 Asian Police Taekwondo Open; Political art program "Living in the hearts of the people"; Summary of the first Sculpture and photography composition Camp Award on the topic "For National Security and Peace of Life"; Song composition Contest with the theme "80 years - the Glory of the Vietnam People's Public Security".
For other activities, relevant units are still implementing according to plan and schedule. In particular, focus on organizing well activities from now until May 19, such as: Music Gala Program " Glory of the Vietnam People's Public Security"; International Workshop on enhancing the participation of women in law enforcement forces; organize a parade to commend the international female police force and the Ao Dai Festival; Organize the "Youth for National Security" Camp in the Northern region, commend 80 outstanding and outstanding young people of the Commune, Ward and Town Police in 2024.
Also at this meeting, Politburo member and Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang requested the Public Security of units and localities assigned to preside over advising on organizing activities to proactively develop plans and organize implementation to ensure progress, efficiency, practicality, absolutely not interrupting work, affecting the quality of commemorative activities in the process of arranging and streamlining the organization of the Public Security of units and localities.
In particular, focus on organizing the Music Gala Program " Glory of the Vietnam People's Public Security" and sideline activities taking place on March 8 and 9, 2025 in the Hoan Kiem Lake area, Hanoi.
