Here, President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rumen Radev and the Bulgarian high-ranking delegation visited the workshops of VinFast Automobile Factory. The President highly appreciated the quality and success opportunities of VinFast electric cars in the European market and suggested that VinFast soon study cooperation and investment in Bulgaria.
President Rumen Radev said Bulgaria has strengths in research, production and development of components, sensors and smart operating systems for electric vehicles. Bulgaria has been involved in the supply chains of many European, American and Japanese car manufacturers for many years, so Bulgaria is confident that it can support VinFast to enter and conquer the European market.
During the visit, the Bulgarian President also learned about the production process and appreciated the quality and potential success of VinFast electric vehicles in the European market. President Rumen Radev sent an official invitation to VinFast leaders to soon study cooperation and investment options in Bulgaria such as selling cars in the market, setting up a component manufacturing facility, manufacturing cars in Bulgaria or cooperating in developing software for electric cars in accordance with European standards and regulations.
Welcoming and working with the President and the Bulgarian high-ranking delegation, Vice Chairman and General Director of Vingroup - Mr. Nguyen Viet Quang introduced to the delegation the development journey of VinFast. He said that VinFast is strongly advancing globally, with the goal of popularizing electric vehicles and green mobility trends to countries around the world, and will seriously research and seek opportunities for cooperation and investment in Bulgaria.
On the same day, President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rumen Radev and a delegation of high-ranking Bulgarian leaders visited and worked with leaders of Hai Phong city, then the delegation visited Lan Ha and Cat Ba bays, Hai Phong.
