A place to share and connect
PI Vina Danang Co., Ltd. (Road No. 6, Hoa Khanh Industrial Park, Lien Chieu District, Da Nang City) held an inauguration ceremony for the Trade Union activity site in December 2024, marking a new step forward in caring for workers.
Ms. Vo Thi Hanh - a union member at PI Vina Danang Company Limited - was surprised to celebrate her birthday with her colleagues. This is the first birthday of Ms. Hanh to be held in such a solemn and meaningful space.
"It's been a long time since I remember my birthday. Today, I was on my shift when the staff organized a birthday party and gave me gifts, Ms. Hanh confided.
After 3 months of operation, Mr. Nguyen Thien Cung - garment department - also shared his joy at participating in activities at the Trade Union activity point: "Previously, after work, we often just went home to rest or gathered at a coffee shop. Now, with a Union activity point, brothers have a place to meet and interact, so the working atmosphere is much happier and more comfortable".
Mr. Cung added that the Union's organization of birthdays for union members every month is a very meaningful activity, creating cohesion among members, helping everyone feel cared for and shared.
Improving the spiritual life of workers
PI Vina Danang Company Limited inaugurated the Trade Union activity point and organized a November collective birthday party for 45 staff in December 2024. The Trade Union cultural activity point is located in the common living area of the company, including the area for displaying books, newspapers, law promotion corners, news boards; a place to drink tea to relax and relax, and a photo space.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Cam Tho - Chairwoman of the Trade Union of PI Vina Danang Company Limited, although the space is not too large, the Trade Union activity point can help union members share memorable moments during their birthdays.
"Hopefully this will be an interesting point for the Company's union members, contributing to improving the spiritual life of workers and employees and improving the quality of the Trade Union's activities," said Ms. Nguyen Thi Cam Tho.
To make the Trade Union cultural activity point of this unit more convenient and complete, the Da Nang City Labor Federation also donated mobile loudspeaker devices with blu blu blu blu bluetooth connection, the "Accompanying Book Club" donated hundreds of books to cultural activity points. This provides workers with a place to read, rest, relax, learn knowledge and laws during the break between shifts and after work.
