Starting with a small idea
The idea of Saigon Waterfall originates from a seemingly simple question: How to preserve and spread the beauty of Saigon without needing something too big?
Admin Lang Thang Saigon shared: "When it started, we didn't think we would go that far. Just a group of friends who love Saigon, want to save the everyday stories that we accidentally encounter. But then, those stories gradually became more popular, and we realized that our mission was much greater.
In the early days: When Lang Thang Saigon was first born, the admin team had to do everything themselves: from taking photos, writing articles, answering messages to coming up with content ideas.
Each article comes from what they have witnessed or heard. For example, the story of a lottery ticket seller who spends most of her small income helping orphans, or the image of young people cleaning up trash in the park on weekends.
Overcoming challenges
As the number of followers increases, the pressure increases. How to keep content honest and meaningful while still attractive is not an easy problem. We believe that truth and genuine emotions are the factors that make Lang Thang Saigon different. So, despite the hardships, we are still persistent, admin shared.
Throughout the journey, Lang Thang Saigon is not only the effort of the admin team but also the contribution of the followers themselves. These pieces make the fanpage richer.
