More than 250 domestic and foreign players compete for a place in the main round. A big surprise occurred when Mai Tan Huyen and Nguyen Tran Thanh Tao overcame a series of strong opponents to participate in the 8 players participating in the final round.

In Group A, Mai Tan Huyen created an earthquake when defeating championship candidate Tran Quyet Chien with a score of 40-26. Even though he did not win any more matches, he still entered the semi-finals thanks to a high average turnover index. In the semi-finals, Tran Quyet Chien defeated Tran Thanh Luc, while Bao Phuong Vinh defeated Mai Tan Huyen after a tense match. In the most anticipated final, Bao Phuong Vinh affirmed his mettle as a true champion, defeating Tran Quyet Chien and winning a prize of 500 million VND.
The tournament is also a step forward for the younger generation, with new faces such as Mai Tan Huyen and Thanh Tao leaving many impressions, alongside veteran stars.
