From the Yang Bay great forest to the blue sea of Nha Phu Bay, it opens up for tourists experiences close to nature, indigenous culture, adding color to Khanh Hoa tourism.

Returning to nature in the Yang Bay great forest

Yang Bay Tourist Park, an eco-tourism area of Khanh Viet Corporation (Khatoco) is located in the middle of Khanh Vinh mountains and forests, nearly 1 hour by car from Nha Trang.

Welcoming visitors right from the entrance is an ancient tree that the Raglay people call by a respectful name: Moc Than.

The tree trunk is about 25m high, the canopy is wide, the roots must be hugged by dozens of people. Raglay people stop at the foot of the bridge every time they go to the forest for a peaceful trip, and couples before getting married also come here to send their wishes. Today, under the canopy are thousands of silk strips carrying the wishes of visitors.

In Raglay, Yang Bay means "Heaven's Waterfall". This is also the name of the largest waterfall in the three waterfalls cluster Yang Bay, Yang Khang and Ho Cho.

Yang Bay water has a very special shape that is not majestic but creeps through each layer of rock, softly blending in the green of the mountains and forests enough for visitors to zoom in to capture the entire landscape.

A day at Yang Bay is extended by exciting experiences: trying the suspenseful feeling of crocodile fishing, riding ostriches, feeding Koi carp bottles, or cheering with a pig racing.

When feet are tired, the open-air Ho Cho natural hot spring source is an ideal stop. Mineral water at a temperature of about 45 degrees Celsius, brought into mineral baths and mud baths combined with local herbs, brings a feeling of relaxation to visitors after a day of exploration.

For families with young children, Yang Bay is also a "no blackboard" class. Coming here, children can pick vegetables, catch fish, practice simple cooking under the guidance of a chef, or trek on roads along the edge of the forest.

No books, no scores, only hands stained with mud and lessons about life skills, about self-reliance and respect for nature.

In particular, Raglay culture creates a unique feature for Yang Bay. In the mountainous space, the sound of stone lute and Chapi lute harmonizing with traditional dances bring visitors close experiences with the cultural life of the people.

Monkey Island, Orchid Island - the green color in Nha Phu Bay

About 18 km north of Nha Trang center, Nha Phu Bay with Monkey Island and Orchid Island tourist areas opens up the second color of Khatoco ecotourism.

Monkey Island has long been known as a "monkey kingdom" with more than 1,500 individuals living naturally. Meanwhile, Lan Island conquers tourists with hundreds of orchid species competing to show off their colors, creating a road of orchids and a brilliant orchid cave amidst the vast waves.

What few people know is that Lan Island still retains a mangrove forest of about 10 hectares, with cool green mangrove canopies and a characteristic flora and fauna of the coastal estuary region.

On a forest trekking or kayaking journey, visitors have the opportunity to observe crabs, fish and small creatures hidden under the water, a completely different experience from ordinary sea and island activities.

For those who want to stay longer, the accommodation area right next to the mangrove forest offers a rare quiet space.

Just a few steps from the guest room, visitors can walk under the trees, catch the rays of sunlight through the foliage, listen to birdsong and watch the forest transform every moment of the day. Close enough to feel nature, but still retain the privacy of a vacation.

To limit plastic waste and protect nature, for more than 1 year, tourists have been encouraged not to bring disposable plastic items to the islands in Nha Phu Bay. A small change, but it is a way for each visitor to nature not to leave more traces on the environment.

Traveling with Khatoco tourism from the great forest to the blue sea during the National Day holiday September 2nd, tourists not only remember the beautiful scenery but also bring interesting experiences about a green and rich in identity Khanh Hoa today.
