According to the research report "Healthcare services for foreigners in Vietnam", the Vinmec healthcare system has the best recognition rate nationwide with a recognition rate of up to 67%, keeping a good distance from other hospitals.
Family Medical Practice ranked second with 48%, Viet Phap Hospital - Hanoi 34%, Raffles Medical Clinic 34%, FV - Ho Chi Minh Hospital 30%, American International Hospital (AIH) 22%, Medlatec Medical System 21%, Hoan My International Hospital 17%, Hong Ngoc General Hospital - Hanoi 16% and Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital 11.1%...
The study was conducted by Indochina Research Vietnam, a leading market research company in the region, in 4 major cities: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang and Can Tho. In Hanoi, Vinmec leads with an 80% identification level, followed by Viet Phap Hospital - Hanoi 75% and Family Medical Practice 57%.
In Da Nang, Vinmec also ranked No. 1 with 78% recognition, surpassing Family Medical Practice with 55%. In Ho Chi Minh City, Vinmec is also ranked high with a rate of 71%. In Can Tho alone, the public hospital system still dominates, but Vinmec is still the top choice in the private hospital sector.
According to research by the leading market research company in the region, the most important factor for foreigners when choosing medical services in Vietnam is the professional qualifications of the medical team (accounting for 53%), followed by the quality of facilities (accounting for 48%) and dedication to patient care (accounting for 40%).
