She said that in the future, the two could meet, smile and shed grudges, but also clearly affirmed: "Returning to be close friends is impossible.
When mentioning past conflicts with Stephen Chow, Tran Lam showed a rather open attitude but still maintained clear boundaries. She admitted that over time, the two sides can resolve old grudges, but that will only stop at the level of shaking hands to reconcile, and cannot return to the close relationship as before.
According to Tran Lam, adults do not necessarily have to try to maintain close relationships with everyone. Accepting the natural distance between people is also a sign of maturity.

In addition to the old story with Stephen Chow, Tran Lam also mentioned recent controversies stemming from the statements of Huong Ta's son in a livestream.
Previously, Huong Ta jokingly said: "I advise everyone not to go see "The Kungfu Women's Football Team" - a new movie for Stephen Chow to direct, then immediately added: "Everyone support the movie". However, some information on the internet only cut and spread the first half of the sentence, causing controversy.
Tran Lam said that before that, she had publicly called on the audience to support the film, but was still dragged into controversy and became the target of online attacks by edited and distorted information.
This experience made her helpless, believing that in public space today, "the risk of speaking out can appear anywhere".
The conflict between Tran Lam and Chau Tinh Tri originated in the 1990s. At that time, Chau Tinh Tri signed a contract with Vinh Thinh film studio belonging to the Huong family and continuously created many hits such as "Saint Card", "Duong Ba Ho Diem Thu Huong".
However, as Stephen Chow's reputation and box office attraction increased, the gap between the remuneration in initial contracts and the commercial value he brought also gradually became clear, laying the foundation for the two sides later to turn to different directions.
In 2014, an online article titled "Why are so many people defaming Stephen Chow?" caused public conflict between the two sides to erupt.
