According to Ms. Linh, from August 22, due to the impact of storm No. 4 and prolonged heavy rain, the Ky Cung river water rose, causing Gieng Vuong market to be deeply flooded. Nearly 800 business households here had to relocate goods and assets to ensure safety.
After the floodwaters receded, from the 24th to now, small traders and functional forces have organized cleaning to stabilize life. Currently, the cleaning work has been basically completed, and small traders can start to return to trading.
The floodwaters are rising, so everyone is very hard. After the floodwaters receded, they left a large amount of garbage and mud. Fortunately, with the support of forces, small traders are also less vất vả.

Also according to Mr. Manh, everyone spent almost sleepless nights cleaning up. The flood passed and left piles of garbage, waste, mud. As soon as the water receded, everyone moved there. Now we have to spray disinfectant and then we will return to business. Everyone is trying to stabilize soon.
According to Ms. La Thi Hong - Vice Chairwoman of Ky Lua Ward People's Committee (Lang Son), the locality determines that wherever the water recedes, it will be cleaned, focusing on cleaning the entire market area and neighboring roads, ensuring environmental and food safety before small traders return to trading.
According to Ms. Hong, the ward has coordinated with functional forces to clean up and sanitize the environment so that people can soon return to business. The work is deployed overnight, striving to be completed on August 25.
According to the plan, Gieng Vuong market will be generally cleaned, sprayed with disinfectant and checked for all about 800 automatic switches before power supply is restored.
It is expected that on August 25, small traders at Gieng Vuong market will return to business and trading.
